Vote for Change
November 14, 2008
America needs change and Americans voted for change last week. I’m afraid the change we’re going to get isn’t the change we need, but that remains to be seen.
Luckily, President-Elect Barack Obama has a plan…I think. Obama’s Transistion Team put up this website to let the public in on his foolproof plan.
Actually, while I was writing this post, the site went down, but luckily Google knows how to handle these situations. Here is the link to the most recent version of the President-Elect’s agenda. Don’t worry, I’m sure Obama has a plan for the country, it just isn’t available to the public.
The situation gets even more interesting. Just a few days ago, Obama actually did have a full agenda available for viewing, but quickly took it down. Again, Google has our back. You can find the original plans here, here, here, here, & here. Needless to say, I’m worried about the future of this country. The most concerning to me is the Crime and Law Enforcement section under Urban Policy.

[...] On November 4, America voted for change. And guess what? It’s already here!President Elect Obama has revised his agenda just a tad, replacing several pages on change.org that outlined his plans with a summary assuring Americans that he does have an agenda and that it is “comprehensive and detailed.” It’s just no longer public, that’s all. Here’s the new deal. The old deal lives on only in Google’s cache (here, here, here, here, & here.) Alas, the agenda pages on women and on “additional issues” have already aged out of Google’s cache. No worries though. I’m sure they’ll turn up once more people notice. (Thanks to Nate, for noticing and tipping me off.)Now why would he do something like that? Well, we can’t just have all those campaign promises lying around, now, can we? Oh well. I’ll be hanging on the edge of my seat, anticipating all the exciting changes yet to come!update: See Nate’s post at Keep N Bear here [...]
